Charm City Fringe Announces 2019 Application Opening And Move

Charm City Fringe opens applications for its 8th annual theatre festival in Baltimore's Bromo Arts District. Once again, application fees for Baltimore artists are waived in an effort to showcase more of our city's burgeoning theatre scene.
Howard Community College Presents HEATHERS THE MUSICAL

The Baltimore Playwrights Festival Presents SMALL HOUSE NO SECRETS

The Baltimore Playwrights Festival, www.baltplayfest.org continues its 38th Season with our very first self-produced production, the musical Small House No Secrets by Jody Nusholtz (book and lyrics) and Sonia Rutstein (music and lyrics), directed by Miriam Bazensky. Small House No Secrets, will be presented on Fells Point Corner Theatre's second floor Sokal Stage (not handicapped accessible) at 251 South Ann Street, Baltimore, MD 21231. Small House No Secrets will run Thursday March 21 through Sunday, March 31, Th, Fri and Sat at 8 p.m., Sunday at 3 p.m. There will be a talk-back after the March 24 th matinee performance. All tickets are $18.00 and can be purchased at www.baltplayfest.org.

Olney Theatre Center continues its record-breaking 81st season with Ken Ludwig's A Comedy of Tenors on the Mainstage, running April 10 to May 12, 2019. National Endowment for the Arts Acting Chairman Mary Anne Carter has approved more than $27 million in grants as part of the Arts Endowment's first major funding announcement for fiscal year 2019. Included in this announcement is an Art Works grant of $10,000 to Olney Theatre Center for the American Premiere of Ella Hickson's Oil directed by Tracy Brigden. Art Works is the Arts Endowment's principal grantmaking program. The agency received 1,605 Art Works applications for this round of grantmaking, and will award 972 grants in this category.
