Red Branch Theatre Company has announced auditions for David Auburn's Proof, Directed by Jennifer Spieler.

Audition Dates - Saturday, May 15 from 12:00-3:00pm

Callbacks - Monday, May 17 from 7:00-9:30pm and Tuesday, May 18 from 7:00-9:30pm

Show Dates - July 8-18

Both auditions and callbacks are being held at 9130 Red Branch Road, suite F

Please prepare one contemporary monologue (dramatic or comic) between 30 seconds to 1 minute in length.

Synopsis: David Auburn's Pulitzer Prize winning play Proof focuses on Catherine, struggling with her famous mathematician father's death. She clashes with both her sister Claire and dad's former graduate student Hal, who wants to find valuable work up in dad's office. When a hidden mathematical proof is discovered, Catherine claims ownership - is she a genius like her father? Will she succumb to madness, like he did, or is she capable of finding her own place in the world, to find a life beyond being dad's caretaker?

Robert (Catherine's father) - late 50's
Catherine - mid 20's
Hal (Robert's former graduate student) - late 20's
Claire (Catherine's sister) - late 20's/early 30's
