Photo Flash: Fells Point Corner Theatre Stages STICK FLY

Three families are about to be joined together as the wealthy and well-known African-American LeVay family gathers at their vacation home in Martha's Vineyard. Kent LeVay's fiance Taylor is an academic whose absent father, a prominent public intellectual, makes her less than charmed by the LeVay's posh lifestyle. Flip LeVay's girlfriend Kimber, a WASP (in her own words) who works with inner-city school children, seems to fit in well with the upper-class family. The family and their guests are forced to grapple with race and privilege with all the affection, sardonic wit and tumultuous furor that comes with being a family of color in modern America.

Director Christen Cromwell comes to Fells Point Corner Theatre after being a featured director in the last two 10x10x10s. She brings with her the exceptional cast of Adrienne Knight, JC Payne, Jared Michael Swain, Shelby Sullivan, Louis B. Murray and Barbara Madison Hauck. Join us in this incendiary look at race and class in today's America.

Admission: $24 on Fridays/Saturdays, $19 on Sundays

*There is a Pay What You Can performance on Thursday, Oct. 18th during the final dress rehearsal. There are also regular performances on Thursday 10/25 and 11/1.
