He has a BA from Brigham Young University (BYU) in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and a minor in Theatre Studies. In the past, he has written for the BYU Daily Universe and the Connersville (Ind.) News-Examiner. In addition to reviewing, he has extensive experience with many aspects of theatre, including writing, producing, directing, music directing, designing, singing, acting, marketing, publicity, and operations.

Favorite Show

Some of my favorite theatre-going experiences include seeing the original casts of ANASTASIA in Hartford (2016) and SHREK THE MUSICAL in Seattle (2008) for their pre-Broadway tryouts, as well as being front row center for both DEATH OF A SALESMAN on Broadway with Philip Seymour Hoffman/Andrew Garfield (2012) and the MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG revival at New York Theatre Workshop (2022). Other favorite shows include RAGTIME, PARADE, LITTLE WOMEN, and LEGALLY BLONDE.
