Shelby has been an avid writer since she was a young girl. She majored in Theater Arts at Washington State University where she worked as a Teacher’s Assistant instructing her students in script analysis. She set her focus on directing and playwriting. Crowning her theater education was the selection of her one act play, The Dog and the Butterfly, for the Kennedy Center ACT Festival representing Washington State University.Shelby has collaborated with several theater companies through out the Treasure Valley, including Stage Coach Theatre, Boise Little Theater, Boise Music Week, Encore Theater, and Daisy’s Madhouse. Shelby works hard and enjoys all aspects of her passion for theater including directing, acting, and of course, writing.
