The album artwork, as well as the portraits of the band members, form part of NOMA’s '21st Century Mona Lisa' collection, who explains the idea behind it in the following statement:

Whatever My Heart Allows consists of ten dreamy, heartfelt tracks, and features contributions from Grammy winner Don Was, Griffin & Taylor Goldsmith (Dawes), Grammy-nominated guitarist/singer Madison Cunningham, and Mikaela Davis.

The Dublin duo Elgin is completed with Anthony Furey and the pair came together having travelled the breadth of the globe as the acclaimed collective The Young Folk and now with Weightless / Still they continue their musical journey under the name Elgin.

Mostly recorded at home, the album also features contributions from many other musicians including Jon Thorne on bass (Lamb), Tom Moth on harp (Florence and the Machine - and brother of NMA bassist Ceri Monger), plus string arrangements from composer friends Tobias Unterberg, Henning Nugel and Shir-Ran Yinon.

The single follows his jaw-dropping “2Pac Must Die,” in which Glasses’ tells the story of Tupac Shakur’s death from the perspective of Compton Crip gang member Orlando “Baby Lane” Anderson, whom many believe shot and killed Tupac.
