SUPER BOWL GREATEST COMMERCIALS 2020, an interactive countdown special where viewers will be able to vote LIVE for the most hilarious and most heartfelt Super Bowl commercial, will be broadcast Wednesday, Jan. 29 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. The special will be hosted by Boomer Esiason, analyst for CBS Sports' NFL pregame show THE NFL TODAY, and Daniela Ruah, star of CBS' NCIS: LOS ANGELES, and originate from the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, home of “Super Bowl LIV.”

NBC has averaged a 0.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 4.2 million viewers overall for the primetime ratings week of Jan. 13-19, according to “live plus same day” figures from Nielsen Media Research.

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” has won the late-night ratings week of Jan. 13-17 in the key demographic of adults 18-49, as well as women 18-49 and adults, men and women 18-34, according to “live plus same day” figures from Nielsen Media Research.

ABC News' “Nightline” averaged 1.075 million Total Viewers, 360,000 Adults 25-54 and 260,000 Adults 18-49 during the week of Jan. 13, 2020, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “Nightline” led leading CBS' “The Late Late Show with James Corden” (342,000 and 231,000, respectively) in Adults 25-54 (+18,000) and Adults 18-49 (+29,000).   

ABC News today announced chief anchor George Stephanopoulos, “World News Tonight” anchor and managing editor David Muir and ABC News correspondent Linsey Davis will moderate The Democratic Debate in New Hampshire on Friday, Feb. 7 (8:00 to 11:00 p.m. EST), on ABC. They will be joined by WMUR-TV political director Adam Sexton and WMUR-TV news anchor Monica Hernandez who will also ask questions on the minds of voters. 

ABC News' “World News Tonight with David Muir” stood as the No. 1 evening newscast for the 5th consecutive week in all key target demos: Total Viewers (9.277 million), Adults 25-54 (1.865 million) and Adults 18-49 (1.256 million) for the week of Jan. 13, 2020, based on Live + Same Day Data from Nielsen Media Research. “World News Tonight” outdelivered “NBC Nightly News” (8.084 million, 1.655 million and 1.171 million, respectively) by 1.193 million Total Viewers, 210,000 Adults 25-54 and 85,000 Adults 18-49. In fact, “World News Tonight” turned in its largest overall viewer win over the NBC program in 5 months – since w/o 8/12/19. “World News Tonight” also increased its Total Viewer advantage year to year (+26%; vs. 945,000), winning all 17 weeks of the season and the last 60 weeks overall.

Australian four-piece The Jungle Giants debut their new single “Sending Me Ur Loving” today via KCRW. The track was written and produced by the band's Sam Hales, who says, “'Sending Me Ur Loving' has been with me for so long…It's an ode to a feeling of self confidence and essentially a love ditty at the same time.” The band's previous single “Heavy Hearted” has been ARIA-certified Gold in Australia.

NBC (5.302 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #1) held off the demo competition on Tuesday with its mix of 'Ellen's Game of Games' (4.703 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T2), 'This Is Us' (6.503 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) and 'New Amsterdam' (4.699 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T6).

New York City-based band Imagainary People have announced the release of their third full-length album Alibi due July 12. Today the band shared 'Hometown' the first single to be lifted from the album with PopMatters and the song will be on all streaming platforms this Thursday. The song condems the homogeny of the modern world, the capitalist system that dictates that, and the death of culture and personality that entails. PopMatters says, 'Landing somewhere between '80s stadium rock (The Alarm, War-era U2) and latter day saints such as the War on Drugs, the track feels like sweeping emotional victory while tackling one of the truths of life in our time: Home ain't what it used to be.' Imaginary People's frontman Dylan Von Wagner explains, 'It's about what happens when your town is replaced with something that seems to sway on the benign and it kind of leaves you with this dread. It's all spread out in this cookie cutter mold, and the town doesn't have its own personality – just another brush stroke on the bland canvas of suburbia.”

Franc Moody have today unveiled 'Skin on Skin', the lead single from their upcoming debut album Dream in Colour which is available for pre-save, pre-add and pre-order now. Dream In Colour will be released on February 28th. The unique London band launched their first long-form project with the disco anthem 'Terra Firma', having ended 2019 with a sold-out run of US dates and also confirmed an impressive European spring tour.

Disney Music has shared a video from the most recent Star Wars film, The Rise of Skywalker, which features a song that Lin-Manuel Miranda wrote for the film. The clip shows the the Aki Aki's of the planet Pasaana singing Miranda's song a?oeLido Heya?? for the celebration scene in the film.

Jordana (Jordana Nye) is announcing the re-release of her 2019 album, Classical Notions Of Happiness, on Grand Jury Music, coming March 27th. Today the Wichita, KS based-artist has shared the bedroom-pop ode to weird dates dictated by astrological inconsistencies, “Signs”, alongside the throwback video that opens with the driving bass line that runs throughout the track and Jordana herself in a parking lot hitting the woah. “Signs”, like all of Jordana's songs, has a stark honesty and vulnerability to it. Disguising her incisive songwriting behind quotidian experiences Jordana is able to create moving vignettes about bad dates, intrusive thoughts and falling in love, with ease. Cindy Lee is the experimental-pop project from Patrick Flegel, the former lead singer of the iconic and much beloved art-noise band Women. Their (they use gender neutral pronouns) new album What's Tonight To Eternity is out on February 14th.
