Canadian electronic duo will release their sixth album, and first in the United States, Dark Beings on March 8th via Cruisin Records, an independent label managed by Theo Hilton (Nana Grizol, Defiance, Ohio) and Clyde Petersen (Your Heart Breaks, Torrey Pines) with a mission to provide a space for queer artists to thrive. LAL Founding members Rosina Kazi and Nicholas Murray came from their local scenes of hip hop, punk, electronic and experimental music and blend all of those influences along with house and techno come together for the new release.

Today Ellis - Hamilton, Ontario's Linnea Siggelkow - announces her breathtaking debut album, Born Again. Produced by Jake Aron (Snail Mail, Solange, Grizzly Bear) and recorded partly at Aron's Brooklyn studio, Born Again arrives as the follow-up to Ellis's debut EP The Fuzz—a self-released, self-produced effort that promptly led to a deal with Fat Possum Records. In a departure from the viscerally charged dream-pop of The Fuzz, Born Again unfolds with a mesmerizing subtlety, gracefully spotlighting Ellis's unhurried melodies, starkly confessional lyrics, and luminous vocal work. The Lumineers announce the addition of more dates to the epic arena tour celebrating their landmark album, III, including Coors Field the band's first stadium headlining in their hometown Denver on August 29. A wide array of artists will be supporting The Lumineers including Shakey Graves, Jade Bird, Gregory Alan Isakov, and Daniel Rodriguez. (Mt. Joy is the opener for the first leg of dates).

Hinder drummer Cody Hanson and frontman Marshal Dutton recently announced a new project called Dangerous Hippies. The band unveil their new video 'Like A Ghost' today. Dutton talks about the song: “Like a Ghost is a story about being out-shined and loving it!” Hanson adds: “Like a Ghost is completely different than our first release. It's been an absolute blast to not be bound by any rules and to be able to create a totally different vibe from song to song. We're just getting started and we can't wait to share more!”

Festival Music Director Alasdair Neale and Executive Director Derek Dean today announced the summer programming for the 36th annual Sun Valley Music Festival, which takes place from July 27 to August 19 in the scenic, Rocky Mountain resort city of Sun Valley, Idaho. Since 1985, the Festival has brought together world-class musicians from distinguished orchestras across North America to perform three weeks of free chamber and orchestral concerts each summer. This season's lineup includes a special Beethoven @ 250 series; concerts featuring guest artists Leila Josefowicz, Daniil Trifonov, Orion Weiss, and string trio Time for Three; anda?"performed by the lattera?"a triple concerto by Kevin Puts, a Festival co-commission with the Florida Orchestra, Philadelphia Orchestra, and San Francisco Symphony. All Festival performances take place at the state-of-the-art Sun Valley Pavilion amphitheater at 6:30 p.m., except where specified otherwise.

The Burbank International Film Festival (BIFF) announces its first event of the year. The Annual Red Carpet/Academy Awards Viewing Party will take place on Sunday, February 9th at L.A. The Madison Square Garden Company announced today that legendary musician and MSG music franchise Billy Joel will continue his record-breaking monthly residency on July 23, 2020 with his 78th consecutive show at Madison Square Garden. More than 42 years after his debut performance at The Garden, the July 2020 show will mark Joel's 124th lifetime performance, all sell-outs, with more than one million tickets sold.

Today, Dave Matthews Band announced dates for its 2020 North American summer tour, which will launch with a two-night stand on June 16th in Uncasville, CT at Mohegan Sun Arena. GLAAD, the world's largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) media advocacy organization, today announced that it will honor award-winning actress, producer, and activist Judith Light with the Excellence in Media Award at the 31st Annual GLAAD Media Awards in New York. GLAAD also announced that Lilly Singh, openly bisexual executive producer and host of NBC's a?oeA Little Late with Lilly Singh,a?? will serve as host of the Awards, which will take place at the Hilton Midtown in New York on Thursday, March 19. GLAAD previously announced that Ryan Murphy will receive the Vito Russo Award at the New York ceremony.
