Italian music artist Annie Barbazza is releasing her first solo album “Vive” on February 29, 2020 on Dark Companion Records. She was a young drummer in love with progressive rock when Greg Lake discovered her talent as a singer and wanted her on stage with him for the concert which would later become the posthumous “Live in Piacenza”. Again Lake produced “Moonchild”, the duo with pianist Max Repetti for Manticore Records where she sang many songs formerly sang by Lake with ELP and King Crimson. If these were the beginnings of Annie's career, now she is a rising star of the international Avant/Prog scene. Her friendship with John Greaves (Henry Cow, National Health) leads her to collaborate permanently live with the Welsh musician and to collaborate on his latest albums (“Piacenza” for Dark Companion and “Life Size” for Manticore).

Today, Miquela shares a R3HAB remix of 'Money,' featuring Chris Wallace and Nisha Asnani on production duties. The pop singer spoke on the origins of the song, noting: 'I make music because it makes me feel less alone. That's why I share it with you ~ hopefully it can help you feel less alone, too.Money is made up, but love isn't!! That's why I wrote ['Money'] about spending $20 on a pressed juice for your crush because they're looking extra cute that day. Also it's a bop, so there's that too.' R3HAB had the following to say about the collaboration: 'This one is special. Doing a remix for an artist project like Miquela is fresh and new and exciting. The whole concept of the act is fascinating and I was immediately interested to be a part of it. On Wednesday, January 29th, Chop Clark released 'Novacane', the third single from his forthcoming debut project, Best Laid Plans. The track features a couple of iconic verses from Frank Dutch and Conway from the acclaimed rap trio, Griselda. Seige Monstracity, who's doctored several hits by the likes of Busta Rhymes, Big Boi, Lil Wayne, Dr. Dre, and Kodak Black, produced the song and gave it the gritty depth reflected in the lyrics.

In fact, “American Housewife” outdelivered “WWE Smackdown” in 3 of their last 4 original head-to-head matchups in Adults 18-49. The ABC sitcom grew week to week by 13% in Adults 18-49 (0.9/5 vs. 0.8/5) and held even with the prior week in Total Viewers (4.3 million).

National Geographic, with FOX 21 Studios and Imagine Television Studios, announced today that Grammy Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated musician Raphael Saadiq has been tapped to serve as executive music producer on GENIUS: ARETHA. Saadiq is responsible for producing, arranging and recording all of the original song elements within the series featuring live performances. The score will be written and produced by multi-Grammy Award-winner and Academy Award nominee Terence Blanchard ('Harriet,' 'BlacKkKlansman').

The four years since dropping his debut album has been a bit of a rocket ride for award-winning R&B-jazz guitarist Adam Hawley. Six of his seven singles have gone to No. 1 nationally and he deftly avoided the sophomore slump when his second outing further established the artist as a centerstage solo artist. The stage is now being set for the February 28th arrival of “Escape,” his third album and first for his new record label, MBF Entertainment. Hawley produced and wrote eight of the record's ten tunes featuring collaborations with a constellation of smooth/contemporary jazz luminaries including Rick Braun, Najee, Michael Lington, Jeff Ryan, Marcus Anderson and Greg Manning.
