The deal is inclusive of both scripted and unscripted content and spans the breadth of NBCUniversal’s portfolio of brands. Cumming is currently the host and producer of Peacock’s hit cultural phenomenon The Traitors, the #1 unscripted series.

The New Broadway Cast of Merrily We Roll Along has seen a 345% increase in streams in the U.S. on Spotify, while streams of “Stay Gold” from The Outsiders saw a 90% increase on Spotify in the U.S.

Apple TV+ has unveiled the trailer for its new series “Lady in the Lake,” the upcoming, seven-part limited series starring Academy Award and Golden Globe Award-winner Natalie Portman and Emmy Award nominee Moses Ingram. “Lady in the Lake” will make its global debut on Apple TV+ with the first two episodes on Friday, July 19, 2024. Production has commenced on the HBO Original drama series A KNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGDOMS in Belfast, Ireland. The series is an adaptation of George R. R. Martin’s novella “The Hedge Knight.” The new cast includes Finn Bennett, Bertie Carvel, Tanzyn Crawford, Daniel Ings and Sam Spruell.

Josh Gad is set to produce and appear in the long-awaiting sequel to Mel Brooks' 1987 comedy Spaceballs, which is in development at Amazon MGM Studios. Brooks will return as a producer on the film. Multiple outlets have reported the news, following a tease from Gad on his Instagram last week.

Blue Moon, Richard Linklater's film about lyricist Lorenz Hart, is a go at Sony Pictures Classics and features a starry cast that includes Ethan Hawke, Margaret Qualley, Bobby Cannavale, and Andrew Scott. The film will begin production this summer in Dublin.
