Cindy Pierre, movie buff, seahorse enthusiast and UFC fanatic, has now fully embraced the theater industry as an upgrade from her former dreams to be a lawyer and/or a scientist. She currently works as a theater critic for online publications New Theater Corps (that supports Theater Talk), Stage and Cinema and Talkin' Broadway. She has had almost a dozen off-off-Broadway productions since graduating from New York University with a B.F.A. in Dramatic Writing. Those include THE FORK TO NEVERLAND (2007 and 2008), 2D (2008), and DUNMORE BAD AND GOOD (2008). She is currently working on two full-length plays, THE LOCUSTS and the first of a trilogy of plays about her birthplace, Haiti, entitled ROCK or HARD PLACE. All thanks be to God.
