Footscray Community Arts picturesque amphitheatre on the banks of the Maribyrnong River, will be filled with the sounds of slinky soul, RnB tunes, hip hop and afro beats when their hugely popular outdoor music series, Bluestone Sessions, returns in March for two concerts.
Elders in Residence invite music lovers to take part in ceremony to kick off the first concert
on Saturday 4 March featuring a First Nations line-up. Opening with ceremony by traditional
Aboriginal dance group Bandok Tati, the stellar line-up of deadly acts:
Straight off the back of their standout performance with American rapper, Joey Bada$$ for Triple J’s Like A Version, far north Queensland’s first neo-soul outfit, Izy headline the concert. Philly, one of the country’s hottest Aboriginal hip hop acts and classic beats from naycab complete the stellar First Nations line up.
