It's About Time at Rollins Studio Theater at the Long Center

Tapestry Dance presents the 23rd Annual International Soul 2 Sole Tap Festival  

Celebrating legendary jazz tap dancer Sarah Petronio 

In addition to numerous classes and workshops for adult and teen dancers of all levels, Soul 2 Sole features two public performances at the Rollins Studio Theatre at the Long Center on June 16 and 17. It’s About Time premiered in Dusseldorf, Germany in May 2022 and intertwines the poetics, life rhythms and the work of jazz tap artist Sarah Petronio. The concert takes a journey from Bombay through Brooklyn and onto the world stage with her partnership with legendary hoofer Jimmy Slyde and beyond. The evening will be brought to life through her voice and rhythms and shared by some of her most trusted and loved artists from around the globe.
