Givenik.com, the revolutionary new way to go to Broadway (and save the world!) has enlisted Tony Award nominee Tovah Feldshuh to serve as an official spokesperson for the Spring theater season, the announcement was made by Jordan Roth, Vice President, Jujamcyn Theaters.

Ms. Feldshuh, who returns to Broadway this season in the new play Irena's Vow (opening Sunday night), will offer support to a number of charities via Givenik.com, including some of her favorites: American Friends of ALYN Hospital, God's Love We Deliver, Human Rights Campaign Fund, Seeds of Peace, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Prozdor at Hebrew College.

At Givenik.com, theatergoers can give and get by getting discounted tickets to dozens of Broadway and Off Broadway shows, including Irena's Vow, while simultaneously giving back to charity as 5% of their ticket price goes directly to the not-for-profit organization of their choice. Any certified non-profit organization can sign up to be a part of Givenik.com for free and develop a new, year-round fundraising mechanism.

Ms. Feldshuh stated, "As an actor dedicated to the New York stage, I am excited and honored to stand up for such a great new concept. Givenik.com supports so many crucial charities around the country while offering the value of Broadway. This is not a time for cynicism, this is a time for being human above all - showing up for your fellow man, when charities need us more than ever. I am delighted to be waving the banner for Givenik.com."

At present, almost 200 organizations (and counting) have joined Givenik.com, from national groups to local chapters, and from arts organizations to educational institutions. Among them are Human Rights Campaign, Dress for Success Worldwide, God's Love We Deliver, The Actors Fund, Central Park Conservancy, Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, People for the American Way, NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Creative Alternatives of New York, Manhattan Theatre Club, local chapters of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers / Big Sisters, as well as community PTA's and temples.
