Tonight Marks the Final Night of the 2018 BLUE CHURCH SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

Since 1998 the Blue Church Summer Concert Series has been taking place at the church of Seyðisfjörður every Wednesday in July and easy August. Tonight, August 1, marks the final night for the 2018 series.

The aim of the series is to offer their audience a program of different styles of music whether it be jazz, blues, classical, or folk.

What makes tonights concert so special,however, is that for their 20th anniversary the night is dedicated to the memory of Muff Worden, who was one of the two founders of the series and passed away in 2006.

The tribute night will feature music and speech by Bergþór Pálsson, Diddú and Anna Guðný Guðmundsdóttir, who are all past performers at in the Blue Church.

The concert begins at 20:30 and all tickets are sold at the door.
