SMASH Series Finale Songs Now Available

The songs from the final episode of NBC's musical drama series SMASH are now available, including the Marc Shaiman/Scott Wittman showstopper "Big Finish", performed by Megan Hilty and Katharine McPhee, and one of the show's other final musical moments, a new ensemble version of "Broadway, Here I Come!"

SMASH finishes its two-season run on May 26 with a two-hour special double-episode extravaganza - titled "The Nominations" and "The Tonys", respectively - after having been recently cancelled by NBC following the low ratings in S2 of the Broadway-centric series, now under the leadership of new showrunner Josh Safran.

SMASH's finale includes "Big Finish" and this new cast version of "Broadway, Here I Come!" (written by Joe Iconis) as well as other songs performed by the accomplished cast of players - such as Hilty taking on Traffic's "Feelin' Alright", McPhee covering Rihanna's "Stay" and the entire cast creating a new version of Queen's "Under Pressure".

The official synopsis of the SMASH series finale is as follows: "As Tom (Christian Borle) crosses an influential Tony voter and Ivy (Megan Hilty) copes with some very distracting news, Derek's (Jack Davenport) past has repercussions for the entire 'Hit List' team. On Tony night, the awards might not provide the answers everyone is looking for. As Jimmy (Jeremy Jordan) faces a final reckoning, Tom, Julia (Debra Messing), Derek (Jack Davenport), Karen (Katharine McPhee), Ivy, and most of all, Eileen (Anjelica Huston) wait to see if the ceremony will confirm their place in the Broadway pantheon once and for all. Rosie O'Donnell, Cheyenne Jackson, Ron Rifkin, and Bernadette Peters guest star."

SMASH's big finale airs May 26 at 9 PM on NBC.
