Photo Coverage: Kara DioGuardi Makes Broadway Debut as 'Roxie' in CHICAGO!

Last night, September 6, former American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi made her Broadway debut in Chicago as murderess 'Roxie Hart.' DioGuardi will play an 8 week limited engagement in the production. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the celebratory evening and brings you photo coverage below!
DioGuardi is the latest addition to the roster of actresses who have graced Chicago's Broadway stage as Roxie Hart throughout the years, including Brooke Shields, Sandy Duncan, Marilu Henner, Bebe Neuwirth, AshLee Simpson, Michelle Williams, Christie Brinkley and Academy Award nominee Melanie Griffith.
DioGuardi is joined onstage by Amra-Faye Wright as Velma Kelly, Tony Yazbeck as Billy Flynn, Chris Sullivan as Amos Hart and Carol Woods as Matron "Mama" Morton.
Chicago plays on Broadway at the Ambassador Theatre. Tickets are available by calling Telecharge.com at 212-239-6200. Tickets may also be purchased in-person at the Ambassador Theatre Box Office. Regular Box Office hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and Noon to 7 p.m. Sunday.
