An evocative first commercial for the new John Kander and Greg Pierce musical collaboration THE LANDING is now available to view, just in time for previews beginning at the Vineyard Theatre tonight.

Walter Bobbie directs the unique entertainment comprised of three mini-musicals unifying to complete the evening, which also features Paul Anthony Stewart and Frankie Seratch in the cast in addition to headliners David Hyde Pierce and Julia Murney.

The official description of THE LANDING is as follows: "Legendary theatre composer John Kander (CHICAGO, CABARET) and gifted playwright Greg Pierce's (SLOWGIRL) first collaboration is a beautiful and haunting new musical, consisting of three thematically-connected tales of desire, love and loss. THE LANDING will feature Tony and Emmy Award-winner David Hyde Pierce (CURTAINS, VANYA AND SONIA..., "Frasier"), Julia Murney (THE WILD PARTY), and Paul Anthony Stewart, and is directed by Tony Award-winner Walter Bobbie (VENUS IN FUR, CHICAGO)."

THE LANDING is set to run through November 10, with previews beginning on October 3. Opening night is set for October 23. More information is available at the official site here.
