Encaustic Art Class at Manifestationz Art Gallery

Manifestationz is excited to announce a very unique art class on September 20, 2014. Artist Doreen Tewksbury will be teaching an Encaustic Art class; a Grecian technique that uses hot wax to create incredibly stunning works of art. The pieces are detailed and take on a lifelike textured design. This special technique is very rare, and Tewksbury is excited to offer the class to patrons of the gallery.

With a love of art since her childhood, Tewksbury has experimented with different art mediums, and fell in love with the encaustic technique later on in life. The molten wax often takes on a form that resembles hot lava. Students at the gallery will enjoy personalized instruction from Tewksbury in an intimate setting.
