(New York, NY - November 29, 2005) - BroadwayWorld.com, the premiere theatre site on the web, is proud to announce its first Holiday Concert. This premiere event will take place on Monday evening, December 19th, at 7:00 PM, at Birdland (315 West 44th Street, Between 8th and 9th). The concert is being directed by Eddie Varley, and produced by Robert Diamond. All proceeds from the evening will go to Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS, as we continue to show support for this great organization.

"Due to popular demand, we're proud to present this first holiday concert," said Diamond, "and we hope to treat the audience to an intimate evening of some of the season's best tunes. As always, you can expect a couple of surprises - the first of which, for us, was being able to coax Richard Jay-Alexander into singing."

Come hear some of ours and your favorite stars pull some great tunes out of their holiday stockings...and then stay for Jim Caruso's Cast Party and celebrate your holiday - BroadwayWorld style. That could mean anything, but you can count on fun...especially if you walk up to the mic.
