9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL to Play Theatre Tallahassee

Theatre Tallahassee will put on 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL from August 24- September 10. Based on the 1980 20th Century Fox film of the same name, 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL follows three women who plan to get even with their sexist, egotistical boss, Franklin Hart. Violet, Judy, and Doralee end up taking over the company that kept them down for years, and give their workspace a complete makeover.

During its run on Broadway in 2009 the show receive four Tony Award nominations, including Best Original Score and Best Choreography.

The cast of Theatre Tallahassee's production of 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL includes Rachael Kage as Violet, Jilian Wesolowski as Doralee, Cristi Izquierdo as Judy, Jeff Hoh as Franklin Hart, Colleen McClure as Roz, Hunter Flora as Joe, Reilly Stoner as Dwayne, Andrew Burns as Josh, Madeline Leaman as Missy, Megan Rochford as Maria, Charles Burden as Dick, Ciele Guiterrez as Kathy, Lenoir Brewer as Margaret, Adam Cobb as Bob, and Gary Cook as Tinsworthy.

Max Allaire, Rachael Young, Michelle Gershon, Michele Nickens, Emily Davis, and Jabez Co star in the ensemble.

The show is directed by Keith Meccia and choreographed by Jacob Arnett, with musical direction by Andy Lagrimas assisted by Manny Vidales.

With a book by Patricia Resnick, based on the screenplay by Resnick and Colin Higgins, and music by the legendary Dolly Parton, 9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL is one show that is not to be missed!
