59E59 Theaters has announced its line-up of shows for Winter/Spring 2007.

The schedule follows:

January 9 – January 28
Get Your War On, adapted by Kirk Lynn and the Rude Mechs from the internet comic by David Rees
"Adapted from David Rees' savage and hysterical internet comic, Get Your War On represents stunned and outraged Americans as they react to the Bush administration and its 'totally awesome' War On Terror.  From the Austin, Texas company Rude Mechs. Part of the Under the Radar Festival."

January 12 – February 4
Billboard by Michael Vukadinovich
Andy got a tattoo…of a corporate logo…on his forehead. His talented  girlfriend is not impressed, his 15 minutes of fame is almost up, and now he has to live with it.  Inspired by a true story, Billboard is a comedy about the battle between consumerism, fame, art and love.  A co-production of Reverie Productions and Overlap Productions."

February 1 – February 11
Gone by Charles L. Mee Jr.
"This world premiere movement-theatre composition by Chuck Mee, one of this country's finest writers, filters the voices of Proust, Ginsberg  and others into a powerful testament of our collective human need to remember and represent life's passing. Produced by Station 5 in collaboration with The Fifth Floor."

February 9 – February 24
6969 by Jordan Seavey
"Two teenagers spark a friendship in cyberspace. But after a string of grisly murders they're forced to question everything they know…Based on true events, 6969 is a production of CollaborationTown."

March 1 – April 8 
Blindness, adapted by Joe Tantalo from the novel by Jose Saramago
"Godlight Theatre Company, the force behind last year's critically acclaimed F451, returns to 59E59 Theaters with this new adaptation of Jose Saramago's Nobel Prize-winning novel Blindness. When a city  is hit by an epidemic of white blindness, a lone eyewitness guides a group of seven strangers to safety. A parable of loss and disorientation, of man's worst appetites and hopeless weaknesses, Blindness is challenging, thought-provoking and ultimately exhilarating."

March 27 – April 22
Rearview Mirror by Eric Winick
"In this modern-day Bacchae set in an outdoor rock festival, three disaffected twentysomethings embark on a desperate search for artistic and spiritual fulfillment.  Directed by Keen Company's Carl  Forsman.  Produced by Reverie Productions."

April 10 – July 1
"Brits Off Broadway"
"Now in its 4th smash year, 59E59 Theaters' signature festival 'Brits Off Broadway' returns.  Line up will be announced soon!"

59E59 Theaters is located at 59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues.  Ticket prices vary, and are available by calling Ticket Central at (212) 279-4200 or visiting www.ticketcentral.com. Tickets can also be purchased in person at the 59E59 Theaters Box Office.
