Tony Award-winning Scottish actor, Alan Cumming, and his American boyfriend of two years, illustrator Grant Shaffer, married today during a civil ceremony in London. Attending the nuptials were singer-songwriter Rufus Wainwright and actress Mary-Elizabeth Mastrantonio.

Cumming was on Broadway last year in the Roundabout Theater Company's revival of The Three[enny Opera. He won a Tony in 1998 for for his role as the Emcee in Roundabout's Cabaret. Cumming, star of over forty films including X2, Spy Kids, Golden Eye, The Anniversary Party, Emma, and Titus, has also starred on Broadway in Noel Coward's Design for Living, and was recently in a West End revival of Bent.

Shaffer is an illustrator, having recently worked on the critically acclaimed Little Children. His other art department credits include Closer, Angels in America, Zoolander, and Meet the Parents.
