Arizona Theatre Company will launch its inaugural National Latine Playwrights Award & Festival after nearly 30 years of recognizing Latine artists with the National Latine Playwrights Award.

On the weekend of April 13th, Mohegan Sun held its 8th Annual Sun Whiskey Union in the Earth Expo & Convention Center. The spacious room was packed with whisky enthusiasts and distiller representatives showcasing some of the best top-shelf whisky, scotch, bourbon, and rye.

Highly acclaimed indie rock collective October Drift have released their brand new single ‘Blame The Young’. The visceral rock track premiered on April 17th on Chris Hawkins’ BBC 6Music show, where Chris described it as “The anthemic new one by a band very much in the zone and on the rise”. ‘Blame The Young’ is about standing up against denial, be that on a personal level or seen in the wider spectrum of society. Chicano playwright David A. Tucker II wins the 2023 National Latine Playwrights Award for his black comedy, The Nude. He will be featured at the inaugural National Latine Playwrights Festival in June 2024, hosted by the Arizona Theatre Company.

The Courtauld has announced two new appointments as part of its ongoing strategy to expand its curatorial and academic expertise. Beginning in May, Dr Elena Crippa will join the institution as its first Curator of Contemporary Art: Exhibitions and Projects and Professor Lynda Nead FBA will become a new Visiting Professor, starting in the autumn.
