Since its Broadway opening in 1930, GIRL CRAZY has dazzled audiences with gorgeous and toe-tapping songs like “Bidin’ My Time,” “Embraceable You,” “Treat Me Rough,” “But Not For Me,” and “I Got Rhythm.” The show made Ginger Rogers a star and was Ethel Merman’s stage debut. BWW Review: Osnes & Fontana Take Part in 'A Lovely Night' at the TILLES CENTER
by Nicholas Pontolillo - Oct 20, 2016

There is nothing like the resonating echo of instruments tuning on a stage. For me, this sound is a perfect indicator that a fantastic evening is about to occur. This definitely was the case Sunday night at the Tilles Center when I saw A Broadway Romance Starring Tony Award nominees Laura Osnes and Santino Fontana. The evening was emceed by Ted Sperling, who is beginning a new initiative at the Tilles Center by bringing memorable Broadway themed events to the venue. Ted Sperling is a Tony Award winning orchestrator for the brilliant show The Light in the Piazza and is currently represented on Broadway by the current Tony-nominated revival of Fiddler on the Roof. The music of the magical evening was performed by the Orchestra of St. Luke's under the direction of Mr. Sperling. (more...)

Als Neufassung des Musicals „Girl Crazy' von George Gershwin und erganzt mit beruhmten Gershwin-Nummern wie „Tonight`s the Night' oder „They Cant`t Take That Away From Me' erlebte „Crazy for you' 1992 in New York seine Urauffuhrung und begeistert seitdem mit einer großen Portion Humor und wahrer Ohrwurmqualitat Musical-Fans weltweit. BWW Review: Gaslight's BASKERVILLE is A Yawn
by Jeffrey Ellis - Apr 1, 2016

Ken Ludwig created one of theater's best-loved and critically acclaimed farces with Lend Me A Tenor, then updated the book of one of musical theater's most revered Gershwin titles (Girl Crazy) with the long-running and equally beloved Crazy For You.
