School of Rock-The Musical may not hit Broadway until later this year, but a select group of people will get an early sneak peek! Creator Andrew Lloyd Webber has invited guests (scroll down to read the full, official invitation letter!) to the Grammercy Theatre to watch an early version of the new musical.The article also reveals that the show, which begins previews on Monday, November 2, 2015 at the Winter Garden Theatre, will star Alex Brightman (Wicked, Big Fish, Matilda) as substitute teacher, Dewey. Additional casting has not yet been announced. Tickets are now on sale for the preview concerts, scheduled for June 3 at 7:30pm, June 4 at 7:30pm, June 5 at 7:30pm and June 6 at 2:00pm. (more...)
