Based on a story developed with Susan Yankowitz

"Baby" tells the story of three couples on a university campus as they deal with the painful, rewarding and agonizingly funny consequences of this universal experience. There are the college students, barely at the beginning of their adult lives; the 30-somethings, having trouble conceiving but determined to try; and the middle aged parents, looking forward to seeing their last child graduate from college when a night of unexpected passion lands them back where they started.

by Michael L. Quintos - Aug 22, 2014

She is, to put it mildly, still one of the world's most treasured, gifted musical voices. Even more awesome? Holliday served as the finale headliner that capped off an impressive line-up of Broadway stars that included Erich Bergen, Rogelio Douglas, Jr., Danny Gurwin, and Tony nominee Chad Kimball. And the highly entertaining evening---a pleasant mixture of amusing anecdotes and enthralling showtune performances---was hosted by Holliday's Tony nominated DREAMGIRLS co-star, Obba Babatunde. The Symphony's pilot programs have received support from the William and Nancy Thompson Family Foundation, The Ahmanson Foundation and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals. For more information on these programs and “Heartstrings,” contact Symphony Vice President of Education and Community Engagement Pam Blaine at (714) 876-2360 or pblaine@pacificsymphony.org.
