The 2022 Tony nominees are already winners... literally. For some, this marks their first nomination, but others have already won Tony Awards in seasons past. We took a look at which nominees have won at least a Tony or two (or six!) - amongst them, they've gathered a total 61 awards!

Second Stage Theater has announced two new productions for its upcoming 2022-23 Season. Tony Award-nominee Bess Wohl will return to the Tony Kiser Theater (305 West 43rd Street) this Fall with the New York premiere of CAMP SIEGFRIED. Spring 2023 will see the Broadway premiere of Larissa FastHorse's THE THANKSGIVING PLAY,

On Monday, June 6th, Second Stage Theater will host the Fair Chance Job Fair. Fair Chance Hiring means that employers refrain from including questions about conviction history in the application process before a job offer is made. 

Second Stage Theater has announced casting for the upcoming world premiere production of 53% OF. The production will feature ANNA CRIVELLI, EDEN MALYN, MARIANNA McCLELLAN, GRACE REX, CATHRYN WAKE, and AYANA WORKMAN.

Zoetic Stage and the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County will present the exciting conclusion of the 2021-2022 Theater Up Close season – the Florida premiere of OUR DEAR DEAD DRUG LORD, a dark comedy by Colombian-American Miami playwright Alexis Scheer about a gang of viciously vulnerable teens who try to resurrect the spirit of Pablo Escobar.

Second Stage Theater has announced that Deeksha Gaur has joined the Company’s Board of Directors as a Trustee. Additionally, the Board is announcing the appointment of Janet Lynne Knopf, who joined the Board as a Trustee during the pandemic shutdown.

The Road Theatre Company returns to live performances with the world premiere of Bernardo Cubria’s THE PLAY YOU WANT March 1, 2022; the first of three plays performing in repertory. Michael John Garcés directs the cast of Peter Pasco, Chelsea Gonzalez, Natalie Llerena, Jonathan Nichols, Roland Ruiz, Christopher Larkin, Stewart J. Zully and Presciliana Esparolini. Toho Co., Ltd. has just announced the world premiere of a new theatrical production based on Studio Ghibli’s Oscar-winning film SPIRITED AWAY (original title: Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi). This production will be the first ever stage adaptation of the 2001 animated masterpiece by Hayao Miyazaki which became a massive box office hit in Japan and earned worldwide acclaim including Academy Award for Best Animated Feature of 2002.
