In anticipation of International Jazz Day, April 30, Denver Arts & Venues is pleased to announce the performance lineup for the 2023 Five Points Jazz Festival, which returns to the neighborhood to celebrate the music, culture and roots of Denver's historic Five Points on Saturday, June 10 from noon to 8 p.m. This year marks 20 years since the first festival which was held in April 2004.

Mr Wilson is a Reggae / Funk act, formed in 2018 and based in Limassol. They fuse elements from different genres of music, as each musician comes from a different background, ranging from Rock, Latin, Jazz, Fusion and Folk music, to create a unique music experience. 

Mariza Anastasiades (soprano) and Socrates Leptos (guitar) will perform a unique blend of both original and arranged works from France, Italy, Brazil, and Argentina, many inspired by the rich musical folklore of their respective countries. Presented by Music in the Mountains.

Macumba was born in Cyprus. This excellent band moves towards Latin Jazz and World Music directions and paths. The collaboration between Elias Ioannou (trumpet), Giorgos Morfitis (keyboard), Rodrigo Caceres (bass) and Rodos Panayiotou (drums) brings a new air to the music scene of the island.

GRAMMY Award-winning bluegrass group The SteelDrivers is gearing up for a busy concert season with the announcement of the band's Riding The Rails tour. The 44-date tour trek kicks-off Friday, March 31 and will conclude on November 11.

Sea Gypsies are a three-piece blues fusion band with a repertoire of around sixty numbers which they perform in their own arrangements. The band consists of: Tammy Joe Stewart (guitar, vocals) Jim Williams (bass, vocals) and Dave Samwell (drums, cajon). They don’t just do blues covers but rearrange numbers completely.

Vanessa Megalemou sings with Vasilis Vourvopoulos at the piano, transporting you musically with retro melodies in French, English and Greek, with elements of jazz, swing and a nostalgic and intense Parisian style.

Giorgos Krasidis (saxophone), Irenaeos Koulouras (double bass) and Stelios Xydias (drums) are considered to be among the most important and influential soloists and educators of jazz music on the island, so if you are a jazz fan and haven't had the pleasure yet, prepare to be musically amazed. Broadway Dallas has announced its 2023 Gala featuring a full performance of MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL on Saturday, April 1 at the Music Hall at Fair Park, hosted by Gala Co-Chairs Jolie Humphrey and Gail Plummer with Honorary Co-Chairs Ambassador Kathryn Walt Hall and Craig Hall.

Mountain Stage Radio Show is set to kick off their 40th anniversary celebration at 5:00 PM on Sunday, January 15th, 2023 with a live press conference, which is open to the public, in the Culture Center Theater Lobby. After the conference Mountain Stage will do what it does best - host a night of diverse musical acts including Donna the Buffalo, David Mayfield Parade, The Dirty Grass Players, Lauren Calve, and Philip Bowen. Country music star Kathy Mattea will serve as the night's host.
