Penguin Rep Closes 2015 Season With World Premiere of PRICELESS

Penguin Rep Theatre, under the leadership of founding artistic director Joe Brancato and executive director Andrew M. Horn, concludes its acclaimed 2015 season with the world premiere of Priceless, a new play about an art caper gone awry, by David Robson, author of last season's hit Playing the Assassin.

Directed by Mr. Brancato, Priceless will be performed October 2 through October 25 in Stony Point (Rockland County), New York.

When Raymond gets into trouble, he reaches out to an unlikely source for help: Zacke, a friend from boarding school in Sweden who he hasn't spoken to in decades. But old friends (and an old painting) may not be exactly what they seem, and their reunion ignites humor and mystery. "Even when the best things in life are free," says Mr. Brancato, "they don't necessarily come cheap."

The cast of Priceless includes Broadway veterans Sean Hayden (as Raymond), Jack Noseworthy (as Zacke) and Kevin Pariseau (as Arthur).

The production team includes designers William Neal (sound), Charlotte Palmer-Lane (costumes), Brian Prather (set), and Christina Watanabe (lights); properties/technical director Rick Apicella; and stage manager Jamil Chokachi.

Performance days and times are: Thursday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m., with matinees on Saturdays at 4:00 p.m. and Sundays at 2:00 p.m.

A special reduced-priced weekday matinee performance is slated for Friday, October 2, at 2:00 p.m.

After the official opening on Sunday, October 4, the audience is invited to join the cast and crew for cake and coffee.

There will be a discussion among the actors, author and audience following the show on Friday, October 9.

Before the 4:00 p.m. show on Saturday, October 10, there will be a complimentary tasting catered by a local restaurant.

Performances are scheduled at Penguin's intimate theatre, located at 7 Crickettown Road in Stony Point.

Individual tickets to Priceless are priced at $40 each (plus a $1 per ticket service charge). An early ordering discount ($32) is available if tickets are ordered prior to October 4. Discounts are also available for groups of 10 or more and young people (30 and under).
