Nine-time Grammy Award winning artist John Legend has announced dates for his 2014 North American tour titled 'An Evening with John Legend: The All of Me Tour.' The tour which began March 20th in Temecula, CA and goes through early June will feature John in an intimate and acoustic setting, highlighted by guitar/vocal accompaniment as well as a string quartet. The tour will stop at Santa Rosa's Wells Fargo Center for the Arts tonight, April 1, with an 8 p.m. performance, and other stops on the tour will include a night at the prestigious Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, CA on March 26th as well the Brooklyn Academy of Music in Brooklyn, NY on May 31st. The cast of the new Broadway smash, Disney's Aladdin, is currently in the studio laying down tracks for the Original Cast Recording of the show, to be released by Walt Disney Records digitally on Tuesday, May 27th. The physical album is set for release on Tuesday, June 17th and will also be available for purchase in-theater. Broadway star Sara Jean Ford, currently starring as Christine in Broadway's The Phantom of the Opera, joins the already stellar line up for this Sunday afternoon's concert, presented by Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY). Defying Gravity: The Music of Stephen Schwartz and Eric Whitacre at Avery Fisher Hall, Lincoln Center, is the first concert collaboration between groundbreaking choral composer and Grammy winner Eric Whitacre and renowned Academy Award and Grammy-winning composer Stephen Schwartz, whose musical Wicked continues to run on Broadway after more than 10 years.
