The New York Youth Symphony Musical Theater Songwriting Program (NYYS) and Director Anna K. Jacobs have announced the 2021/2022 Season. Heading into its fourth season the NYYS Musical Theater Songwriting program is specially designed to lead students through a range of musical theater songwriting processes. 

Tony-winning director Bartlett Sher is bringing his fresh take on a beloved masterpiece to life as FIDDLER ON THE ROOF stops in Jacksonville on the North American tour direct from Broadway. The beloved theatrical masterpiece will be at the Times-Union Center, November 2-7, 2021.

CIRQUE DREAMS HOLIDAZE lights up the stage in the awe-inspiring, eye-popping family holiday spectacular. This annual tradition wraps a whimsical, Broadway-style musical infused with contemporary circus artistry into the ultimate holiday gift for the entire family! 

A powerful story of redemption, Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, has enchanted audiences the world over with its simple message of Holiday joy. Ebenezer Scrooge, that most unrepentant and miserly of fellows, is made to see the light as he survives a merciless battery of revelations by the ghosts of his own life: Jacob Marley and the Christmas Spirits of Past, Present, and Future.

Under the Artistic Direction of Anna K. Jacobs, the New York Youth Symphony Musical Theater Songwriting (NYYS MTS) program will host its third annual Songwriter Showcase on June 8, 2021 at 6:00 PM.

The Times-Union Center will play host to The Price is Right Live stage show on October 23, 2021 at 8:00 p.m..

Disney Concerts presents Disney Princess — The Concert, a nationwide tour kicking off November 1, 2021 at the Times-Union Center in Jacksonville, Florida.

At its quarterly meeting on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, the New York Youth Symphony (NYYS) elected Derek Zhao to its Board of Trustees. Mr. Zhao is an Executive Director at JPMorgan and is responsible for the bank's Macro Index Trading business in North America.
