Deadline reports that short-form video platform Quibi will produce Charlemagne, a drama from Michael Hirst (Vikings, Camelot) based on the wild life of the Roman emperor who united Eastern and Western Europe amidst navigating a salacious, complicated personal life.

NBC Sports' 2019 NFL preseason coverage kicks off this Thursday, Aug. 1, when the Atlanta Falcons face the Denver Broncos in the 2019 Pro Football Hall of Fame Game from Canton, Ohio, at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
