Today it was announced that a brand new musical starring 20 Bay Area teens will debut at Feinstein's/54 Below January 24 and 25.

Actor and comedian Jim O'Heir from NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation makes a special pre-filmed video appearance this weekend at the world premiere of Hell on Earth: A New Musical (About Middle School). The Young Actors' Theatre Camp Founding Directors, Shawn Ryan and John Ainsworth, present their brand new musical starring 20 Bay Area teens at The Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts this weekend (November 15, 16, and 17).

“S.W.A.T.” stars Shemar Moore as Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson, a S.W.A.T. sergeant who leads an elite tactical unit that is the last stop in law enforcement in Los Angeles. Tasked with taking on some of L.A.'s toughest criminals, Hondo and his team of dedicated men and women bravely risk their lives to protect the community. Own the second season on DVD August 20th.   

FX today announced the cast that will star in the pilot for Gone Hollywood. Set in 1980, Gone Hollywood centers on a group of talent agents who defect from an old-guard percentery to found their own, which skyrockets to industry dominance, disrupting the business and changing movies forever. The show will mix its fictional protagonists with real-life entertainment figures and events.

Fraser Entertainment Group's AN EVENING OF CLASSIC BROADWAY returns to Rockwell Table and Stage in Los Angeles. The show tune songfest will take place on Monday, June 24th at 8PM (doors open at 6:30). Rockwell is offering a 25% discount for all June shows with the code PRIDE25.

Center for Performing Arts Bonita Springs presents Funny Shorts LIVE! on June 14 and 15, featuring six short plays in an evening of comedic storytelling. CBS announced today that it has renewed six more drama series and two news programs for the 2019-2020 broadcast season. SEAL TEAM, S.W.A.T., MADAM SECRETARY, BULL, HAWAII FIVE-0 and MACGYVER will return to the CBS lineup next season, along with longstanding primetime news shows 60 MINUTES and 48 HOURS. With these pickups, CBS has now renewed 18 series for next year.

Pop singer Robyn Spangler appeared at Rockwell Table and Stage Sunday December 16 for a cd release party to celebrate her new album Christmas Is. This lady, if you remember, is nonpareil in her homage to Linda Ronstadt and Billy Barnes, two previous best-selling cds, and has enough warmth to spread Christmas cheer everywhere... all by herself. However, joing her onstage were not one, but three guest stars: Don Most, Joanne Tatham and Shawn Ryan.What a treat for the holidays!
