Manhattan Theatre Clubhas announced the lineup for the 2023 Ted Snowdon Reading Series.

Nicholas Barasch has joined the seventh season of Riverdale as a major recurring character. He will play Julien Blossom, the twin brother of Cheryl Blossom (Madelaine Petsch). The series stars KJ Apa as Archie Andrews, Lili Reinhart as Betty Cooper, Camila Mendes as Veronica Lodge and Cole Sprouse as Jughead Jones.

Andy Sandberg, Artistic Director and CEO of the Hermitage Artist Retreat, announced that composer and theater artist Imani Uzuri has been selected as the third recipient of the Hermitage Major Theater Award.

The Marsh San Francisco will kick off the New Year with Poetic Justice, taking a deep dive into the true lives of three distinguished writers. HBO Max has renewed the original drama PRETTY LITTLE LIARS: ORIGINAL SIN for a second season. The series was co-created by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Lindsay Calhoon Bring. The cast includes Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, Maia Reficco, Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Elena Goode, Eric Johnson, Alex Aiono and Lea Salonga.

eal McDonough (THE FLASH, CAPTAIN AMERICA) and Casey Cott (RIVERDALE) are set to headline the sports drama BLACK SPARTANS, which is directed and written by Ben Cory Jones (INSECURE, BOOMERANG). The film is scheduled to shoot this fall in Atlanta, Georgia.

Second Stage Theater has announced casting for the upcoming world premiere production of 53% OF. The production will feature ANNA CRIVELLI, EDEN MALYN, MARIANNA McCLELLAN, GRACE REX, CATHRYN WAKE, and AYANA WORKMAN.

The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center has announced its 2022 summer season, which features the return of some beloved in-person public events put on pause during the virtual and hybrid seasons of 2020 and 2021. 

An upcoming episode of The CW's Riverdale series will feature the American Psycho musical adaption. The series' annual musical episode will take on the Duncan Sheik musical later on in the show's seventh season. Previously, the show has performed Heathers the Musical, Carrie the Musical, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and Next to Normal.

Manhattan Theatre Club announced the lineup for the 2022 Ted Snowdon Reading Series. The readings kick off Monday, March 14 and will be held on Mondays through March 28. The readings will take place at New York City Center – Stage I (131 West 55th Street). All readings are free and open to the public, but space is limited and RSVPs are required.
