Food Network and Cooking Channel deck the halls for the holidays with 70% more hours of premiere holiday programming than last year including two new series, eight specials, several returning fan-favorites and seasonal stunts, as well as recipe inspiration on the new Food Network Kitchen app. The seasonal lineup kicks off with the return of Holiday Baking Championship with host Jesse Palmer and tough love judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman, and Lorraine Pascale premiering on Monday, November 4th at 9pm ET/PT, followed by a special episode of Holiday Baking Championship: Sweet Revenge at 10pm ET/PT where runners up from past seasons get a second chance to prove their holiday baking abilities. Then, at 11pm ET/PT it's the icing on top, with a new season of Christmas Cookie Challenge with host Eddie Jackson and lead judge Ree Drummond. The holiday action continues on Wednesday, November 27th at 10pm ET/PT as Tyler Florence hosts The Great Food Truck Race: Holiday Hustle as food trucks hit the snowy roads of New England in the series' first-ever holiday-themed season. Next, Casey Webb heads to the North Pole on the new series Santa's Baking Blizzard, where ice sculptors and cake masters are challenged to defy the laws of ice and cake and bring the holidays alive, premiering on Thursday, November 28th at 9pm ET/PT. When the weather outside is frightful, the competition heats up on the return of Holiday Wars with host Jonathan Bennett on Sunday, December 1st at 9pm ET/PT as cake masters and sugar artists face-off to create mind-blowing holiday displays, followed by a new season of Holiday Gingerbread Showdown with host Paige Davis at 10pm ET/PT as gingerbread artists create edible gingerbread masterpieces. Kids Baking Championship: North Pole Edition premieres on Sunday, December 8th at 8pm ET/PT as Duff Goldman and Valerie Bertinelli challenge four beloved kid bakers from previous seasons to create the most spectacular treats for Santa. Alton Brown is having a 'latke' fun on Good Eats with back-to-back episodes exploring latkes and libations on Sunday, December 15th at 8pm and 8:30pm ET/PT. Molly Yeh continues the Hanukkah celebration on Ultimate Hanukkah Challenge as four chefs are tested to put their creative spin on some of the holiday's classic dishes premiering Saturday, December 21st at 9pm ET/PT.Then, Duff Goldman rings in the New Year with the most spectacular cakes that transform from one decade to another new special Cake-Off: New Year's Eve, premiering Sunday, December 29th at 9pm.

LIVING FOR TODAY will present a benefit concert entitled Living for Today: a?oePut on a Happy Facea??, on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St) beginning at 7PM. The concert is produced and directed by David Alpert (If/Then, The Apple Boys) with music direction by Jason Wetzel (After Midnight). Tickets are priced $15 and $25; with a select amount of $100 VIP seats which includes an after-show champagne toast with the company. Tickets are available at www.joespub.com. The concert will feature a live band and Broadway stars performing their favorite showtunes, all chosen to make us smile.

Red Bull Theater today announced the cast for the one-night-only, all-star benefit concert performance of the Olivier Award-winning Best Musical Return to the Forbidden Planet, a musical of Shakespearean proportions by Bob Carlton. The 2019-'20 Season kick-off event will take place Monday October 21st at the Peter Norton Symphony Space (2537 Broadway at 95th Street)

On Thursday, August 8, nearly 100 volunteers will be on hand to help Volunteers of America-Greater New York (VOA-GNY) sort and prepare 20,000 brand new backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies. The goal: to ensure that every student experiencing homeless and residing in NYC homeless and domestic violence shelters as they get back on their feet has an opportunity to start school with every supply they could possibly need.

Pittsfield's Mayor Linda Tyer officially declared June 24th as Barrington Stage Day as Barrington Stage Company celebrated its 25th Anniversary Season with its most successful Summer Gala honoring Founding Artistic Director Julianne Boyd.  The completely oversold event also raised 160K for The Julianne Boyd New Works Fund.

The Eleventh Annual Running of the Red Bulls Gala Benefit took place on Monday June 3rd, at 6pm, celebrating the company's 16th Season and honoring director Daniel Sullivan, actor Condola Rashad, and the American Theatre Wing with the 2019 Matador Awards for Excellence in Classical Theater. Proceeds from the evening will support all of Red Bull Theater's programs including its Off-Broadway productions of The White Devil and Mac Beth, Revelation Readings series, and its Shakespeare in Schools initiative.

Broadway Sessions, the MAC award winning, long running musical theatre variety show created and hosted by Ben Cameron is thrilled to announce it's summer residency on Fire Island! Beginning Memorial Day, Monday May 27th, the Broadway Sessions 'Beach Party' will bring Broadway to the beach at the world famous Ice Palace in Cherry Grove. Every Monday from 9-11pm, Ben Cameron and crew welcome a host of Broadway stars and veterans to offer up showtunes and general merriment to the Fire Island community. No cover charge. Monday night at NYC's Le Poisson Rouge, the fourth annual Broadway Bee competition scored impressive success. Broadway stars, cast mates, and supporters raised $41,898 for Broadway Bound Kids' arts education programs. Paige Davis, representing team Chicago, took home the grand prize trophy.

Tonight, Broadway stars will compete to be the last one standing and win the Broadway Bee! The event is a comedic spelling bee between Broadway shows, hosted by the creators of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. This unique evening supports the free and tuition-assisted arts education programs of Broadway Bound Kids, whose mission is to inspire and empower young lives through the arts.
