Welcome to the first edition of So Now You Know!  I am thrilled to have the talented and generous Nicolas King be my debut guest!! While I've known of Nicolas's talent for several years, it wasn't until this past December that I was introduced to his kind and giving nature.

With a lifelong show business career and many luminaries who have worked with him, the industrious and gifted young artist remains humble and down to earth, thanks to lessons he has learned from great teachers. Stephen Mosher tells his story, as King prepares to open a new show at The Beach Cafe in February.

On Friday, January 10, 2020, baritone Will Liverman and pianist Jonathan King release their debut album Whither Must I Wander on Odradek Records. Whither Must I Wander is an exquisite recital of songs on the theme of travel by composers by Ralph Vaughan Williams, J. Frederick Keel, Herbert Howells, Aaron Copland, Steven Mark Kohn, Nikolai Medtner, and Robert Schumann.

Mr. Finn's Cabaret at Barrington Stage Company has become one of the countries leading presenters of the art form of cabaret. The road going from Birdland and Feinstein's/54 Below to Pittsfield Ma. now also comes from Las Vegas. Clint Holmes, one of the main attractions on the strip and in nightclubs around the country came to Barrington Stage Company last night and made the Berkshires and Mr. Finn's officially become part of the nightclub circuit.

Sherlock Holmes fans! Boston University writers created a new TV series based on Stephen King's 'The Doctor's Case' short story. 'Holmes Legacy: The Doctor's Cases' is a six-episode drama about an older Dr. John Watson, who uses his memories of Sherlock Holmes to foil a new Moriarty and protect present-day London. Experience the live staged reading by professional actors at WBUR's CitySpace from 12-3 p.m. on April 27-28, 2019.

The winners of the Directors Guild of America Outstanding Directorial Achievement Awards for 2018 were announced tonight during the 71st Annual DGA Awards at the Hollywood & Highland Center's Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood. Alfonso Cuarón won the DGA's Award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film for Roma.
