The complete cast has just been announced for the 10th Anniversary Production of ROCK OF AGES, opening this summer at New World Stages (340 W 50th St). Nominated for five Tony Awards during its record-breaking Broadway run, this return engagement begins performances on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 for a 16-week limited run through Sunday, October 6, 2019.

The 2019 Tony Award Nominations were announced this morning, and while a select, talented few will spend the day celebrating their achievements, there are many who fell just short of a nod.

The Tony Awards Administration Committee has been meeting all year to discuss the eligibility of the 2018-19 Broadway productions all leading up to Tuesdays big announcement... the Tony nominations.

The 73rd Annual Tony Award Nominations will be announced tomorrow, April 30, from the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center. In just 100 days, The American Theatre Wing will present the 73rd Annual Tony Awards, which are set to air on the CBS Television Network on Sunday, June 9, 2019 (8:00-11:00 PM, ET/delayed PT).

The Skivvies returned to Joe's Pub on November 11 with The Rocky Horror Skivvies Show, their own twist on the iconic songs from the cult favorite. Performers included Diana Huey, Mike Viruet, Marissa Rosen, Rob Morrison, Christina Bianco, Matt Doyle, Andrew Keenan Bolger, Will Swenson, Mitch Jarvis, Taylor Iman Jones, and Travis Kent.

Tony Awards Administration Committee met today for the first time this season and confirmed the eligibility status of seven Broadway productions for the 2019 American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards®. The Tony Awards Administration Committee will meet a total of four times throughout the 2018-2019 season to decide the eligibility for the 73rd Annual Tony Awards.

Fat Kid Rules The World, (www.FatKidRulesTheMusical.com) a new musical with book and lyrics by Jay Falzone (Cooking With the Calamari Sisters), music and additional lyrics by Matt Gumley (Elf) and additional music by Evan Jay Newman (American Idiot International tour Musical Director), will be performed at invitation-only developmental presentation on Monday, October 29 at 7pm, Tuesday, October 30 at 11am and 3pm and Wednesday, October 31 at 11am at the Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 W. 46th Street, 3rd Floor). Based on the novel by K.L Going, Fat Kid Rules The World is directed by Marc Eardley (Really Bad Things)and executive produced by Dancing Play Productions.

We got Gettin' The Band Back Together- BACK TOGETHER at Broadway Sessions recently.  Cast members reunited to tell stories from the show and perform music they love to sing. There were Bon Jovi shout outs a plenty, and laughs galore, just like GTBBT! Cast members Mitchell Jarvis, Garth Kravits, Noa Solorio, Becca Kotte, Ian Ward, Lindsey Brett Carothers, Scott Foster and special guests Eugene Ebner and Jocelin Weiss blew the roof off the joint! The cast even treated the audience to our signature "Sloppy Plot Synopses", so if you missed the show, now you can know just what you missed ;)

Isaac, the kids from SCHOOL OF ROCK, Eric William Morris and his cast members from KING KONG.

J. Elaine Marcos debuted her hilarious one woman show What I Did for...a Job at Feinstein's/54 Below on September 5.

Last night, GETTIN' THE BAND BACK TOGETHER welcomed some high-profile guests, including Jose Llana, Celia Keenan-Bolger, Marsha Mason, Jaygee Macapugay, Nikka Graff Lanzarone and ONCE ON THIS ISLAND's Alex Newell. As BroadwayWorld previously reported, the new musical comedy, Gettin' The Band Back Together will conclude its Broadway run today, September 16, after 30 previews and 40 performances. The production opened at The Belasco Theatre, on August 13, 2018.
