THE CHER SHOW has their signing and performance at Barnes and Noble today!

The Cher Show, the three-time Tony nominated new hit bio musical currently playing on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre, will celebrate the retail release of their Original Cast Recording with an in-store performance and CD signing at Barnes & Noble (150 East 86th Street) at 4pm on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.

The event will feature musical performances by stars Stephanie J. Block(Star), Teal Wicks (Lady), Micaela Diamond(Babe), Jarrod Spector (Sonny Bono), and Matthew Hydzik (Gregg Allman). Following the performance, the cast will be on hand to sign CDs.

Hannah Corneau makes her Broadway debut as Elphaba in WICKED tonight!

Beginning performances Tuesday, May 14, Hannah Corneau will assume the role of Elphaba in the Broadway production of Wicked.

Hannah Corneau is making her Broadway debut with this role. She recently starred as Edna St. Vincent Millay in the critically-acclaimed Transport Group production of Renascence. Previously, she traveled around the country as Yitzhak in the First National tour of Hedwig and The Angry Inch. Her Off-Broadway and regional credits include Daddy Long Legs, Evita, Fiddler on the Roof, Harmony (Ovation nomination), Les Miserables (Joseph Jefferson Award), Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, and A Little Night Music. She is also a member of RANGE a cappella.

PROOF OF LOVE opens off-Broadway tonight!

Constance thought she had a happy life and a loving husband. Suddenly, a tragic accident splinters her upper-class black family-and forces Constance to face uncomfortable truths about her marriage and herself. Proof of Love is the explosive, funny, and moving new one-woman play by Chisa Hutchinson, member of the first class of talent supported by the Audible Playwrights Fund; Jade King Carroll directs.

The creative team for Proof of Love includes Alexis Distler (scenic design), Jen Caprio (costume design), Mary Louise Geiger(lighting design), Justin Ellington (sound design), and Nikiya Mathis (hair and wig design).

The Flamingo Kid, inspired by the 1984 Garry Marshall coming-of-age film starring Matt Dillon, reunites Tresnjak with A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder's Tony Award-winning book writer and lyricist Robert L. Freedman. They are collaborating for the first time with the Tony Award-nominated composer Scott Frankel (Grey Gardens, War Paint).

What we're geeking out over: OKLAHOMA! Will Launch National Tour from Oklahoma in 2020

Producer Eva Price announced that the reimagined revival of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Oklahoma! will launch its North American tour at the Civic Center Music Hall in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma in the Fall of 2020. The 2020 tour will mark the first time a First Class Equity production of Oklahoma! has toured North America in 40 years.

Oklahoma! features music by Richard Rodgers and a book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, based on the play Green Grow the Lilacs by Lynn Riggs, with original dances by Agnes De Mille.
