2022 Tony Award winner Joaquina Kalukango will join the cast of the New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim’s revival of Into the Woods as ‘The Witch’ beginning Friday, December 16th through the end of the run at the St. James Theatre.

The New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim’s revival of Into the Woods will now offer general rush tickets for every performance at $59 per ticket. As previously announced, Into the Woods has extended for the final time, by popular demand, through January 8, 2023.

Watch a video of the cast of Into the Woods performing on The View's Halloween episode! The appearance included the cast performing the title number and Patina Miller performing 'Last Midnight.' The performance also featured Stephanie J. Block as the Baker's Wife, Sebastian Arcelus as The Baker, Krysta Rodriguez as Cinderella, and more.

Denee Benton, who starred as Cinderella in the off-Broadway run of Into The Woods at City Center earlier this year, will reprise her role in the Broadway run of the production next month.

Preorders are now available for the CD and vinyl versions for the cast recording of the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of the New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim’s Into The Woods. To celebrate the launch of preorders, the production released a new music video featuring Patina Miller recording 'Last Midnight.'

YELLOW SOUND LABEL will release Sondheim Unplugged: The NYC Sessions – Volume Three, the final installment of the monumental three-volume set dedicated to the oeuvre of iconic musical theater composer Stephen Sondheim. Concord Theatricals / Craft Recordings will soon release the cast recording of the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of the New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods on September 30 on streaming and digital platforms worldwide. The cast of New York City Center Encores! production of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim’s revival of Into the Woods at the St. James Theatre has been announced through November 20. Into the Woods has now extended for the final time, by popular demand, through January 8, 2023. 

Sondheim Unplugged will celebrate its 100th performances as series creator passes the torch to a new host.
