The Morris Choral Society returns to live performances with its Annual Holiday Spectacular 'Tidings of Comfort and Joy' on Sunday, December 19, 3:00 PM at the United Methodist Church on the Green in Morristown.

The 44th Kennedy Center Honorees, Justino Díaz, Berry Gordy, Lorne Michaels, Bette Midler, and Joni Mitchell were celebrated in Washington, D.C., at the Honors Gala on December 5, 2021 in the Kennedy Center Opera House. 

Chita Rivera has been announced as the host of United in Song: Celebrating the American Dream, a new New Year's Eve special on PBS. The special will also feature performances by Lea Salonga, Drew Gehling, Paulo Szot, David Archuleta, Judy Collins, Amber Merritt, Jencarlos Carnela, Deborah Cox, and The American Pops Orchestra.

Eleri Ward's concert tonight at Rockwood Music Hall served as an album release of sorts. She performed selections from her new album A PERFECT LITTLE DEATH for a very appreciative audience comprised of both Sondheim fans and fans of indie music alike. If you weren’t a fan of Eleri Ward coming in, it’s unlikely that you left without being captivated by her. Her voice is crystalline pure, inhabiting the same effortless soprano world as Judy Collins before her. Her arrangements are rhapsodic and filled with yearning. She was visibly moved to be performing in front of a live audience again. Her performance was intimate and vulnerable and touching.

On Saturday, October 2nd, the Sharon Playhouse will present a star-studded and glittering salute to EGOT recipient and Broadway’s Uber Maestro, the great Jonathan Tunick. The evening is conceived and directed by Alan M-L Wager and supported by a 27-piece orchestra with appearances by Broadway Guest Stars and Broadway Special Guests.

Pioneering arts leader Paul Crewes, who has served since 2015 as the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts' first Artistic Director, steps down from his position at the end of this year and transitions to a new role as Artistic Advisor for the balance of The Wallis' 2021-2022 Season, it was announced by Michael Nemeroff, Chairman of the Board.

MPAC features a robust lineup of classic pop, contemporary and rock in October as it continues its return to full capacity events.

Joining them will be musical director Michael Arrom, Lyman Medeiros on bass, John Ciodini on guitar, and Gene Coye and drums.

A field trip for the BWW Cabaret team yielded great enjoyment and four different takes on The Drinkwater Brothers.
