Ma-Yi Theater Company has announced the newest members of the Ma-Yi Writers Lab, which is the largest collective of AAPI playwrights in the country.

Bill Nershi (The String Cheese Incident) & Jilian Nershi announced a 13-date spring tour featuring fellow bandmate and String Cheese Incident percussionist Jason Hann, marking the first time ever touring as a trio and full spring tour for Bill & Jilian. The tour will kick off on March 16 in Boulder, CO, before going to the West Coast in April.

The American Theater Group (ATG), a professional regional theater company celebrating its 11th season, has announced it will present Parade, the Tony Award-winning musical at the Maurice Levin Theater at the JCC MetroWest in West Orange, NJ from March 9-11th.  As previously announced, the show will begin its run March 2-5th at the Sieminski Theater in Basking Ridge.

 The Board of Directors has announced the appointment of Jason Smoller as Managing Director of Northern Stage beginning January 2023. Smoller joins Producing Artistic Director Carol Dunne as co-leader of the award-winning professional theater company in the region. 

The creative team adapting F. Scott Fitzgerald’s landmark novel The Great Gatsby into a Broadway-bound stage musical has been announced. It will feature music & lyrics by Tony Award nominees Nathan Tysen & Jason Howland, and a book by Jonathan Larson Grant winner Kait Kerrigan, helmed by award-winning director Marc Bruni.
