New York Theatre Barn will continue to host free live streams of its New Works Series on select Wednesday evenings at 7PM ET. Hart Island features performances by Natascia Diaz, Rodney Hicks and Gizel Jiménez. Cowboy Bob features Ashley Pérez Flanagan and Grace McLean.

Williamstown Theatre Festival has announced the recipient of the 2021 L. Arnold Weissberger New Play Award and the 2022 Jay Harris Commission, as well as recipients of 2021 WTF Commissions through WTF’s Andrew Martin-Weber New Play and Musical Commissioning Program.

The Civilians will present a concert reading of Kate Douglas and Grace McLean’s new musical Against Women & Music! The musical, which was developed in The Civilians R&D Group, will be directed by Sarna Lapine and music directed by Simone Allen.

Today, Williamstown Theatre Festival announced additional participants for the 2021 WTF Gala taking place virtually on Wednesday, April 7. International award-winning director and virtual theatre pioneer Kiira Benzing will have the North American premiere of her award-winning immersive theatre experience Finding Pandora X at the renowned SXSW Film Festival.

Williamstown Theatre Festival announced today that the 2021 WTF Gala will take place virtually on Wednesday, April 7. Barrington Stage Company has announced the first round of Spark Grants of $2,500 each to 11 artists with whom Barrington Stage Company has either collaborated with on past work or looks forward to collaborating with in the future. Recipients were awarded the grant under the single condition that the money be used to spark the artist’s creativity.
