The Off-Broadway production of Cowboy, based on the life of Bass Reeves will return beginning next month. Reeves holds the distinction of being the first black U.S. Deputy Marshal and this will be the first true western play to hit a Broadway or Off-Broadway stage in over 80 years.

Off Broadway's Our Town... But Wilder, a new comedy that centers on a small-town high school theater department in the 1980's and the chaos that ensues from a love affair between a teacher and a student, will be presenting special post-show talkbacks featuring several prominent figures from the worlds of journalism, law, and religion.

Our Town... But Wilder begins its premiere run Off-Broadway at the Actors Temple Theatre October 1. Opening night is set for October 16, with performances continuing through December 31.

THE BIGOT, the new hot topic play by Gabi and Eva Mor that will have a full Off-Broadway run at the Theatre at St. Clement's  will have its first preview on (423 West 46th Street) April 26 - just two weeks away. Black Angels Over Tuskegee  enlightens and educates Off-Broadway audiences in its 9th year! The narrative depicts the lives of six men who struggle through the Jim Crow era and emerge with distinction as the first African-American pilots in the U.S. Army Air Forces.  With courageous brotherhood, their intelligence, patriotism and strength propel a dream into flight while fighting both military and social wars. The captivating all-male cast delivers a powerful performance that will entertain, inspire and inform as audiences discover the story that provoked a monumental change in American history. Writer, director, actor Layon Gray will reach a milestone in theatre with his 3000th performance on Saturday March 17, 2018 in his World War II drama Black Angels Over Tuskegee.

Vibrantly energetic and emotionally captivating, Black Angels Over Tuskegee  enlightens and educates Off-Broadway audiences in its 9th year! The award-winning, historical docudrama is a narrative of six men embarking upon a journey to become the first aviators in the United States Army Air Forces during a tumultuous era of racial segregation and Jim Crow idealism in twentieth century American history.  Black Angels Over Tuskegee, which is inspired by true events, is currently showcased  Saturday Nights at 8pm,  February 17- March 17 at the Actors Temple Theatre at 339 W. 47th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues in New York City. 

In honor of Veteran's Day Weekend, Miramar Cultural Center is proud to present Layon Gray's critically acclaimed, long-running Off-Broadway show,BLACK ANGELS OVER TUSKEGEE, for one performance only, Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 8pm.

Despite announcing its closing on June 25, the well reviewed, NY Times Critic's Pick Baghdaddy by Marshall Pailet and A.D. Penedo will continue to perform at St. Luke's Theatre (308 West 46th Street) through September 3, 2017.
