Today, Williamstown Theatre Festival announced additional participants for the 2021 WTF Gala taking place virtually on Wednesday, April 7. Joining the festivities will be Olivier Award nominee Wendell Pierce (Death of a Salesman) who is a co-founder of Black Theatre United, a partner in WTF’s new Early Career BIPOC Theatre-Makers Program.

The Williamstown Theatre Festival and Audible Theater world premiere presentation of Chonburi International Hotel & Butterfly Club is available worldwide Tuesday, December 29 at 3 AM ET within the Audible Plus catalog. Chonburi International Hotel & Butterfly Club is part of the 2020 Williamstown Theatre Festival summer season produced on Audible.
Jonah Tolchin Adds More Dates to U.S. Tour

Acclaimed singer/songwriter/bluesman Jonah Tolchin has confirmed additional tour dates in support of his fourth studio album, Fires for the Cold, out September 13 on Yep Roc Records. The 15-date U.S. tour kicks off August 29, in New York City with stops in Nashville at AmericanaFest, Washington, D.C., Charlotte, Decatur, Cambridge, amongst others. A seven-date European tour with label mate Dawn Landes is slated for December. A full list of dates is below.

Producer Fred Foster Passes Away

Fred Luther Foster passed away peacefully last night following a short illness with his family at his side. Foster was born July 26, 1931, in Rutherford County, North Carolina, the youngest of eight children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vance Hampton and Clara Marcella (Weaste) Foster, and siblings Albert Glen, Estelle, Charles Vance, Ray, Pauline, Ethel Lou, and Ann. He is survived by his son Vance Foster, and daughters Micki Foster (Greg) Koenig, Leah Foster (Dillon) Alderman, Brit Foster (Judd) Rothstein, and Kristen Foster and grandchildren Rachel DiGregorio, Rhys and Tess Rothstein, and Penelope Kirschner. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
