Today, two thrilling BOYS NOIZE and ABRA “Affection” remixes by the Bosnian-German deep house artist SOLOMUN have been released HERE via Boysnoize Records. Originally, “Affection” came out last year as part of German-Iraqi artist BOYS NOIZE (Alex Ridha)'s fifth studio album +/- (POLARITY).

BOYS NOIZE, the German-Iraqi GRAMMY winner Alex Ridha, announces the North American leg of his +/- (POLARITY) TOUR 2022. Why Is We Americans? is set to be released on DVD and for digital purchase on April 12th for $24.95. The movie is executive produced by Ms. Lauryn Hill and Oscar®-nominated writer and filmmaker, Oren Moverman (The Messenger). This 2022 theatrical release arrives on DVD loaded with extras, including Q&A’s, deleted scenes, and more. The movie originally opened on January 14th at the IFC Center in NYC. The New York Pops announces the appointment of Donnovan Andrews, founder of HumanWorks, and Anthony V. Thompson, Financial Advisor and Principal at Bernstein Private Wealth Management, to its Board of Directors, in addition to its appointment of current Board member John Gardner as Treasurer of the orchestra's Board. Logical Content Ventures, Logical Pictures’ co-production fund, will finance the development of the films, which will focus on genres in the horror, thriller and sci-fi universe. Logical also secured a first-look agreement to finance and produce. The slate will span multiple projects, with XYZ Films set to produce and handle sales.

Revry, the LGBTQ+ first streaming network will offer the Hedwig and the Angry Inch film for streaming for a limited time. Currently celebrating its 20th anniversary, the film is adapted from the critically acclaimed off-Broadway rock theatre hit of the same name, Hedwig and The Angry Inch tells the story of an ‘internationally ignored’ rock singer.

BOYS NOIZE (Alex Ridha, Berlin) and KELSEY LU (Charlotte, NC) share an erotic, ethereal short film accompanied by their track “Love & Validation” (single edit) and directed by legendary filmmaker Diana Kunst, with Mau Morgó. The track is the 2nd collaboration of the pair after releasing “Ride Or Die” feat. Chilly Gonzales.

The national tour of THE BAND’S VISIT has landed in Los Angeles at the Dolby Theatre. The opening night audience gave the all-round talented cast a most deserved standing ovation. I had the pleasure of chatting with Joe Joseph (who’s silky vocals inhabit the character of Haled) the afternoon post-opening night.

Joe’s Pub has announced their winter programming for 2022 starting in January through February with two shows each evening. In addition, the venue will welcome its former sous chef, Ricky Mungaray back to the kitchen as Executive Chef.

The vinyl box set is spread across eight discs of heavyweight 180 gram vinyl, with each show split between two translucent coloured LPs: June 2nd is red, June 3rd is orange, June 5th is green, and June 6th is blue. It is housed within a beautifully crafted deluxe slipcase box featuring silver foil detail that depicts the Brixton Academy.
