'Girl, where you been?' asks a voice at the very beginning of the title track, and first release, of A Girl Called Eddy's sublime second album, Been Around. All things considered, it's a fair question. Fourteen years have passed since her self-titled debut, produced by Richard Hawley, became something of a cult favorite with her voice and song-writing talent winning fulsome praise and not-hyperbolic comparisons to Karen Carpenter and Carole King. 

Acclaimed recording artists and Madonna's famed backup singers Niki Haris and Donna De Lory will reunite for a night of nostalgia in which they share the soundtrack of their lives at Mmhmmm in the Standard Hotel in West Hollywood on Friday, November 22, at 7:30pm, it was announced today by Chris Isaacson Presents.

 Broadway star Chilina Kennedy returns to Stratford for a one night only in-concert performance of Leslie Arden's acclaimed Canadian musical THE HOUSE OF MARTIN GUERRE. Stratford audiences may remember Ms. Kennedy from her much lauded lead performances in WEST SIDE STORY, EVITA, and JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR to name just a few. Since then, she transferred to Broadway with the rest of the company of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, and then played over a thousand performances on Broadway as the title character in BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL. Currently, she is starring as Dina in the national tour of THE BAND'S VISIT. BWW had the chance to speak with Ms. Kennedy a few days after she concluded the Toronto run of THE BAND'S VISIT. Throughout 2018 and 2019, Alia was seen as a swing in Beautiful; she performed over 100 times across several different roles in the show. Along with Beautiful, Alia brings along a slew of other reputable credits, that include RENT 20th Anniversary Tour ('Seasons of Love' soloist) and Little Shop of Horrors at Berkshire Theatre Festival. Clivio will be performing fresh off the success of his newly released single, 'Kiss Me One More Time' (feat. Allie Seibold). The single has already garnered over 1,000 streams on Spotify.

On Sunday, October 20th, the wildly popular cabaret benefit returned to the stage for the National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund's 19th Annual 'Les Girls'. Honoring actress and philanthropist, Cindy Harrell-Horn, and hosted by her daughters and actresses Cody and Cassidy Horn.
