Founded in 1993 by Adilah Barnes and Miriam Reed, the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival holds the distinction of being the oldest Annual Solo Festival in Los Angeles celebrating powerful women performers. The 31st annual Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival, directed by Jessica Lynn Johnson, has a roster of accomplished co-hosts as well as performers during its six programs March 28-31, beginning with a Gala on Thursday night. I decided to speak with Jessica to find out more about the event and the honor being bestowed upon her at the event’s Gala.

Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival will present its Tenth Annual Empowerment Weekend, of workshops and panels tailored to empower and enhance the careers of solo performers in particular, and an informative event to benefit all performers.

The longest-running Annual Solo Festival for women in Los Angeles, LAWTF will take place March 24- March 27, 2022. The Festival will be presented virtually again this year. The overall theme of the Festival is Beyond Boundaries.

The 29TH Annual Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival (LAWTF) has a roster of distinguished artists who will co-host six evenings of programs virtually. This year's overall theme is Beyond Boundaries.

Los Angeles Women's Theatre Festival is presenting Hindsight 2020, consisting of reflective stories of the year that changed everything. The Palm Springs International Comedy Festival announced today that the PSICF 'Stanley Kramer Mad World Comedy Award' will go to Director, Writer (Midnight Run) George Gallo's new all-male comedy ensemble film 'The Comeback Trail' which stars Robert DeNiro, Morgan Freeman, Tommy Lee Jones, Zach Braff, Emile Hirsch, and Eddie Griffin.
