Peter White

White was born in New York City and began his career on stage, starring in the original 1968 cast of The Boys in the Band Off-Broadway as Alan McCarthy, and appeared on Broadway in P.S. Your Cat Is Dead in 1975, which lasted 16 performances.

 Legendary singer-songwriter Al Stewart, along with his band The Empty Pockets comes to City Winery Boston for one show only Thursday, March 30 at 8pm.

Dave Koz and Friends announce the 25th anniversary edition of the longest-running jazz-based Christmas tour. Kicking off on November 25 (Black Friday), the run will feature chart-topping, GRAMMY-nominated saxophonist Dave Koz along with trumpeter Rick Braun and guitarist Peter White – artists that accompanied him on the road in the earliest years of the tour – as well as pianist Keiko Matsui and vocalist Rebecca Jade.

Mary Bensel, Executive Director of the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, has announced ten additional shows for the upcoming season. Tickets for these shows go on sale Friday, July 15 at 10 a.m. The remainder of the 2022-2023 season will be announced at a later date.

The Balcones Heights Jazz Festival will kick off its highly- anticipated 28th season on Friday, July 15, 2022, and continue with a second concert on Friday, July 29, 2022. Each performance will take place at the Amphitheater at Wonderland of the Americas.

In response to Covid to provide some money to NYC’s many out-of-work or underemployed string musicians, Manny Alvarez launched a “Kolstein Performance Showcase” in collaboration with the Essex House on Central Park South/7th.  There is an ongoing schedule every Friday evening from 7-8 PM.

The Reverend Shawn Amos delivering his message of joyful blues, bassist Jennifer Leitham, and saxophonist Mindi Abair are featured in a living room recital on The Broad Stage presents The Broad Stage Music Mornings, a new, recurring program featuring live performances from intimate rooms.

Art enthusiasts gathered last night (May 22) at Montalvo Arts Center for an exclusive members-only unveiling of its 2019-2020 Carriage House Theatre Concert Series line-up. The historic Silicon Valley venue announced a thrilling roster of performers from Meow Meow to The Second City, from Pablo Cruise to Loudon Wainwright III, tributes to The Beatles, Cream, and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, and an appearance by NPR's hit radio show and podcast "Selected Shorts."
