On Monday May 25th members of the New York Broadway community gathered together to sing out for LGBT rights.

The Broadway Speaks OUT Talk Show & Concert Series hosted its 3rd concert at The Duplex. This time around the concert benefited  The Ali Forney Center. NEXT magazine was the official sponsor for the star studded benefit.

Ano Okera, Frankie James Grande (Mamma Mia, Mr. Broadway 2007),  drag superstar Hedda Lettuce, Laura Schutter (Mary Poppins), Constantine Rousouli (Hairspray), Celina Carvajal (Rooms, Tarzan), Andrew Emig, Anthony Hollock (Hair, Mr. Broadway 2009), Rob Baumgartner, and Broadway Speaks OUT host, Martin Gould Cummings, made up the cast of performers.

The Ali Forney Centers mission statement is to help homeless LGBT youth be safe and become independent as they move from adolescence to adulthood.For more information, visit www.aliforneycenter.org.

Broadway Speaks OUT is produced and presented by, MGC Productions, a fiscally sponsored theatre company in New York City. MGC Productions is bringing innovative LGBT theatre media, and music to audiences in a new and intimate way. Our goal is to spread the message of love, peace, and acceptance in the LGBT community through theatre and performance. The companies artistic directors are Martin Gould Cummings and Anthony Hollock.
